Why not use "solas" Breandán?
No real reason.
Soilse kind of feels more abstract and
solas more concrete, but I was in two minds between the two anyway, so I am more than happy to change it:
De mo ghrá a rinne mé thú "You're made of my love" literally "Of my love I made you"
Mothaím go bhfuil tú ann "I can feel you exist"
Is tusa mo sholas geal "You are my bright light"
Agus ba mhian liom go lonrófá "And I wanted you to shine"
Mairfidh tú i measc na réaltaí "You will live among stars"
Agus beidh a fhios agam go bhfuil tú ann "And I will know you are there"
Agus an spéir a thug dídean dhuit "And the sky that gave you shelter"
Beidh sí i mo chroí go deo "Will be forever in my heart"
Works for me.
Does any one else have a preference between
solas and
soilse?
