It is indeed standard grammar. I feel it can be helpful for those who have more English than Irish - and that includes the vast majority of my neighbours and I am sure the majority of guests who call into sites like this - and who wish to simply look up a word, hear its pronunciation given by clear speakers and learn a little of how to place it in the language.
I am looking forward to finding this fine facility handy as I regularly help some learners of Irish locally.

ive been using it, but a lot of words are coming up with no pronunciation hits, i wonder is it a work in progress or just pronouncing some to demonstrate?

They have said they will be adding more audio files in all the time. Some of the voices are better than others in terms of giving good Gaeltacht pronunciations.
