Dia dhaoibh and hello,

I live in the UK and have just started to learn Irish on my own (I understand a few phrases and basic nouns only at this point) but I would like to dedicate my PhD thesis to my grandmothers. What I sort of thought it would look like is:

"Do mo seanmháithreacha Éireannacha"

...but I am not at all sure; I very badly want to do a training course for a few weeks somewhere to learn more than bits and pieces but can't get away from work for some time yet.

Go raibh maith agaibh and thank you!

Tyr

This is weird. I posted a reply to this early on, before there were other replies. Now my post seems to have disappeared.

Maybe there is an automatic filter mechanism built into the forum where lower quality posts are deleted on impact! I was wondering why your post count hasn't reached the dizzy heights yet!!!
