DeBhaldys dictionary says muruach. My copy of that dictionary (June 1959) has a corrigenda at the end making me wonder just how accurate it is. Along with that corrigenda I've spotted a couple of errors (God knows how many others there are). Diongbháilteacht is spelt correctly in one place, but under the headword 'decision' it says dionghbháilteacht. Sáimhríocht (drowsiness) is missing a síneadh fada on the i.

DeBhaldy was Eagarthóir Comhairleach on FGB, and I reckon this supersedes the English-Irish dictionary.

Yep...I got my editors backward. It was good old Tomás who steered me wrong, not Niall.

I've just seen this about a strange sea monster -
http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/dobharchu - it's a carving on Grace Connolly's tombstone in Co. Sligo - so it must be true

Most bloodthirsty otter I've ever heard of! Our otters are much more mellow...they mostly float around near the pier and crack abalone.

Call me suspicious but I reckon some guy brutally murdered his wife and got away with it. :hide:
