I want to get a tattoo in Irish Gaelic to honor my Irish heritage. I'm thinking about getting an Irish proverb or phrase about resilience. Can anyone help me out by providing some Irish phrases? Thank you so much!! <3

Just to clarify this a bit further, Paorach is an adjectival form of the Norman-Irish surname de Paor, common in Wexford and nearby areas, which is usually anglicized as "Power" or "Powers". The literal meaning of the expression is "Power will have another day", but its figurative meaning as a proverb is as stated above.


Correct, but note that this is a common IRA slogan, so it could be seen as having political overtones.
