I know somebody somewhere should be getting the credit for these, but I have no idea where I came across them. Tá brón orm if it's you!

I just can't believe the Irish word for seven. Shocked! 8O

I couldn't remember the Irish word for 'fell' and then it thit me! :winkgrin:

Aimsir there are loads of groanworthy puns like those :D - not that I can think of any. What about monolingual puns in Irish? There's the proverb "Ní hé lá na báistí lá na bpáistí", of course.
