Keep posting, a Ghearóid, and you'll soon get through the trial period. It is only ten posts. ;)

Perhaps you would like to e-mail the document to me at admin and I can put it up on our server for you? Then we can put a link in this tread for anyone interested to access it.

That would be a great idea. If you do that, Gearóid, it might also be best to scan all of them, that way they're all here for anyone to use. Thanks again, both of y'all.

I've scanned the lists for the three dialects and sent them off to what I believe is the admin address. While Ó Raghallaigh provides minimal pairs for the consonants, he only offers sample words for the vowels. Maybe some here can think of examples.

That's strange. I haven't received anything yet. :S

The address should be: admin (at) irishlanguageforum.com

Please let me know if we have it listed erroneously anywhere.

Thank you very much Gearóid and Brendán. Time now to collect the audio and make flashcards for it.

Yes, thank you Breandán, and galaxyrocker for getting the ball rolling.

While these lists offer minimal pairs for all the consonant sounds, they don't seem to for vowels. Perhaps we could crowdsource suggestions from the various dialect experts here?

Also, galaxyrocker, would you be willing to make the Anki deck available for the rest of us if you are able to source audio?

Certainly! Right now I'm collecting the audio, them I'm going to merge each minimal pair into one recording so you can hear them back to back. Then I'll be making the decks.

Focusing on Carraroe as well, though I might do the other two in the future.
