I am looking to get "Live Laugh Love" in a Gaelic tattoo. Am seeing it in many different ways. Can someone please help? "Mair, Gaire, Gra" is one way. "Saol, Gaire, Gra" is another.
Thanks
This is one we've had a lot over the years (at one time it was the most common tattoo translation request for women, so you'll have a lot of company!
The issue is that not all of those three words are verbs in Irish, so we usually recommend substituting nouns:
Beatha, Gáire, GráDo be careful with the accent marks...if they're not there, the word is misspelled.
I prefer "beatha" to "saol" in this context. "Saol" is more "life" as in "the term of your existence." "Beatha" has more the sense of the essence of life, which seems to fit nicely with this sentiment.
Do wait for three here to be in agreement before proceeding.
