I want to be sure that this is right - I want to put on the tab that you pull on to open a box - 'open here'. Is - 'Anseo le h-oscailt' correct ? and in Munster Irish would they have another way of saying that ?

I think I'd just say "Oscail anseo."

franc, you started a discussion on that topic a while ago. Check this thread:

le hoscailt without hyphen
But it doesn't make much sense.

In your version there is something missing: an imperative.
E.g. Tarraing anseo lena oscailt = Pull here to open it
or Tarraig anso chun é a oscailt (same in Munster dialect)

But I'd stick to plain:
Oscail anseo (anso) é = Open it here

Go raibh maith agaibh. I didn't manage to find my old post here and I thought that it might have been at the other place.
In fact it was a translation given to me a long time ago by someone at the Irish College here in Paris, but I wasn't entirely sure about it.

I've just found the original paper that I was given and in fact it's the other way round - Le h-oscailt anseo - I don't know if that makes any more sense.
