There was a pattern that my conversations would go through.

Them: "What's Gaelic for the pagan blessing 'Blessed be'."
Me: "That's not pagan, it's Christian."
Them: "The Christians stole it from the pagans."
Me: "Perhaps, but the English mass is a translation of the Latin mass. Do you worship Jupiter?"

(And thinking about that, I searched on line, and "blessed be the Lord" appears in Genesis, so if it's pagan, it's semitic paganism.)
