Hi guys, first time writing/submitting anything on here, although I have creeped around before to find some translations! My question right now is in regards to something my grandmother used to say to us… she would call her "favorite" a word or phrase… here's the phonetic pronunciation - "patta wama" I think I found patta or peata means pet? Like an endearing term? But I'm not so sure. Does anyone know what I could be thinking of/what the actual pronunciation/spelling of this world/phrase might be?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

Peata Mhama = Mammy's pet, Mother's pet.

 If the end sound was more o, something like 'Wammo' it would be Peata Mhamó and means Grandmother's pet.

Welcome to ILF. You can stop 'creeping' around now and come into the light!
