There is StudyBase.com as well. They seem to be another broker type of service connecting students and teachers. From their site it seems like their main service is prep for the leaving cert. It also seems like they take a cut from the teacher... :-/ One of their pages talks about prep for the Srath Pictiúr part of the LC, as a learner is actually pretty decent practice.

And just as a BTW for the other learners - if you have not seen the AgFoghlaimGaeilge channel on YouTube, the owner does a bunch of Srath Pictiúr work and he has published all the texts (DropBox - https://www.dropbox.com/s/6nm2d0ddlxf82u1/An%20Bh%C3%A9altriail%20-%20Sraith%20Picti%C3%BAr%202013%20-%20Freagra%C3%AD%20Samplacha.docx) for it as well.

Thank you, Robert, for those. I'm helping some people with the Leaving Certificate Irish and this material will be very valuable and save a lot of time and effort for myself and my students.
I have to give praise to the chap who made the effort and put this up on 'AgFoghlaimGaeilge' - he has a very flat style of speech with an English speaker's accent on the Gaeilge which can still be understood; and this I feel will be familiar to most learners and help them pick up what they need for the Oral Irish examination on these pictures.

I'm glad you found it helpful. I think it's an excellent vocabulary building tool for people roughly at the TEG A2 level or up depending on the video.

For independent learners (like myself) I would say that using the text and changing the tense and things like that would also make a good exercise. There would be all sorts of substitutions you could do with making questions and changing vocabulary. One of the major problems I have is a lack any sort of fluency as I don't have another person to talk to in Irish. So even phrases and vocab that I know when reading are just hard to come up with as I try and talk to my self. But my self doesn't seem to mind.

And I can't be complain about his accent, for sure. As an independent learner resources like that are just too scarce for me to be choosy.
