I realise that maybe it's a bit late to mention it and anyway anyone living in and around Galway or even further West, such as Bríd Mhór, will obviously know about it already. Next week in Galway the Cúirt Féile Idirnáisiúnta Litríochta will be taking place. Taking part will be among others, Cathal Póirtéir talking about the Atlas of the Irish Famine at Cnoic Suain on the 28th of April and who will be joined by the singer Áine Ní Dhroighneáin. In Kelly's Bar, Bridge Street on the 25th there'll be readings by Jackie Mac Donncha and Maidhc Danín O'Sé.

I didn't actually. Are you going to it yourself?

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

No I'm afraid not. I just posted it up because I thought it would interest somebody.
PS At the end of the month I have to go to Edinburgh for a week, it'll be the first time - and I've never been to Dublin either, only the West and North of Ireland. Did I tell you that we once managed to get a return voyage on the yacht 'l'Etoile' (originally from La Rochelle) from Ros an Mhíl to Cill Rónáin?
