I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I'm having problems with trying to access my old posts and now I can't even log out. It's all very frustrating. I hope this doesn't confirm my fears about the good and interesting work accumulated over the years on that forum disappearing. It would mean me having to post requests again from way back, as for the moment, I don't have any means of recuperating them. Would that be possible?

That link works for me. I can "jump to post" too.

Like Wombat said delete your cache. Or try another browser.

That link works for me, too, but the text now has that annoying feature which can happen when one finds Irish text online, where every character with a fada ends up as an odd symbol, so one has to go in and fix every one of those errors in order to use the text. I was getting clean text before.

There's a workaround for that. Set the character encoding (which is probably in your "View" menu) to ISO-8859-1.

Ah, I see what you're talking about. I have a workaround for that, but it's a bit of a pain. Try this link, and change the "start=XX" bit to go to a new page.

Another tip: to find something on that other site, don't bother with the search function. Instead, use Google and include "site:http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com" in the search. For example, if I wanted to find a post I wrote containing the word "ceol", I would search for "site:http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com ceol mhwombat"
