Foclóir Gaeilge-Béarla, the genitive singular of
cliabh can be
cléibh OR
cléibhe so you're both right.

Fair enough, WFM, but it would have been better if Rossaí had expressed that
cara mo chléibhe was
also correct rather than implying that Redwolf was wrong, which she certainly wasn't.
(And if I had read the FGB entry more carefully, I would have pointed out the same, so thanks for bringing it to our attention.
