Fair enough, WFM, but it would have been better if Rossaí had expressed that cara mo chléibhe was also correct rather than implying that Redwolf was wrong, which she certainly wasn't.

(And if I had read the FGB entry more carefully, I would have pointed out the same, so thanks for bringing it to our attention. )

I doubt Redwolf has ever heard " Cara mo chéibhe" as I have.

The same teacher would never say he had a cold or a chesty cough.......he would say...."Tá fuacht im' chléibh"......and "cara mo chléibhe" was an ordinary expression, but work away with the books!
