Wondering if I could get a quick translation:

Too much homework, send for he...

Just kidding.

I was wondering, and probably not the first, how the phrase, "We will live to fight another day" would translate?

This is a seanfhocal (old saying) that means pretty much what you are after. The literal meaning is "Power shall have another day.", an Paorach being "someone from the Power family".
