Táim ag lorg slí deas chun 'bonding' a rá. Ag caint faoi léithóireacht. Reading with a child is a good way to bond/to form a bond/is a bonding experience nó rud éigin mar sin. Aon smaointe le bhur dtoil?

I don't know if there is an official term out there but perhaps:

snaidhmeanna (comhluadair/teaghlaigh/gaolta) a neartú "to bond"
neartú snaidhmeanna (comhluadair/teaghlaigh/gaolta) "bonding"

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.
Is fearr Gaeilge ḃriste ná Béarla cliste, cinnte, aċ i ḃfad níos fearr aríst í Gaeilge ḃinn ḃeo na nGaeltaċtaí.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

No, it's wrong. The right idea is there though. The verb...has no subject?

Things like caidreamh a chothú/neartú to bond (strengthen a relationship/foster...)

Benjamin's suggestion is good, too, of course.

Looks good so. And Irish likes using "an" here to indicate the abstract, that is, reading in general, so what you have is correct. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
