I'm curious about where people heard about us. I myself heard about ILF from another forum. It's always good to know how far word has spread. Did you hear about us from a friend? by 'googling' for a translation? from another site? somewhere else?

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect, but I can also speak Ulster and Munster Irish with native-level pronunciation.

Certain culprits who shall remain nameless kept on posting it up there at another place and as I can take a hint, I came over here, but the other place is still good for browsing around, even if you don't log in - and there are all the posts that I made there when I first started getting interested in Irish. (It just makes me cringe and wince when I think how ignorant I was - and how far I still have to go)

We have had a lot of new members join us since we posted this thread. Does anyone want to let us know how you found this forum?
