I'm curious about where people heard about us. I myself heard about ILF from another forum. It's always good to know how far word has spread. Did you hear about us from a friend? by 'googling' for a translation? from another site? somewhere else?

We always welcome new faces. With new people comes new ideas, fresh interaction. Cá chuala tú fúinn?

I was ploughing a lonely furrow (learning Munster Irish on my own in New Mexico) when Aislingeach let me know about the Teach Yourself Irish study group that had just been formed over here. That's how I found out about this "place". :D

Certain culprits who shall remain nameless kept on posting it up there at another place and as I can take a hint, I came over here, but the other place is still good for browsing around, even if you don't log in - and there are all the posts that I made there when I first started getting interested in Irish. (It just makes me cringe and wince when I think how ignorant I was - and how far I still have to go)

Ciarán mentioned it in a thread over at Unilang, so I had a peep, saw some familiar names, and decided to give it a whirl.
