Fan is pronounced more like fon /fɑN/ in Munster, but what I gave is correct for Connemara. (Lughaidh might be able to fill us in on whether there is a different pronunciation of fan in Gaoth Dobhair?)

 didn't know it was pronounced like that in Connemara! :good:

Féin, I think, is pronounced as féin in a lot of places in Munster- Kerry. However, féin is pronounced as fhéin where I'm from as well and "ig" is sometimes added to the end of the word- fhéinig

I also use dhuit instead of duit-

I just gave the more standardised pronounciation- like Dia duit, instead of what everyone else uses Dia dhuit :) - bloody standard!

If I were to say it:

Fan tréan iss bí dílis dhuit fhéin(ig)

Fon tray- UN is bee deal- ISH ghuit hay-UN-(ig)- Munster Irish stresses the second syllabul

I agree. I've got two! waiting patiently ;) Also I just found out I have an added source to try out. It was just brought to my attention that The Great American Irish Festival is coming the end of this month to a fairgrounds that is about 20 minutes from me, and they have a cultural building I can visit and maybe get lucky where someone there might be able to help as well.

Anyone else who can please confirm these translations, I would be greatly appreciative. I want to go with Fan Tréan and Bí Dílis. Thank you in advance.

It is wise to be careful where something permanent is involved.
