For this I've put - agus bhí cluas le héisteach air agus bhí a shúil amuigh aige - but there's probably a simpler way of putting it. - there's also the expression - a chuid súl ar leathadh - which might be better.
Here's the context -

In the midst of their mirth Robin thought he heard his name called; and, all ear and eye, he put his hand on the boy whom he fancied had spoken.......

I'm not familiar with the phrase: all ear and eye? I don't think a literal translation works though Franc.

It's taken from 'The Giant's Stairs' which was written by Crofton Stoker in the 19th century, so obviously the language he uses would seem quite strange to us today. By the way, I said he 'wrote' it, he has of course produced a literary creation but it is based on a local legend. He didn't speak Irish but I assume that whoever gave him the story probably did. Unfortunately once again, there doesn't seem to be any trace of what would have been the original story in the Irish oral tradition.

er … What does "all ear and eye" mean? I've never run across that one before.

It means that while he was searching for the boy, he was listening and looking as intently as possible. The expression - I'm all ears (I'm listening to everything you wish to tell me, you have my undivided attention) - is still used today.
