Tattoo Request in Irish Gaelic:

"There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter" -Hemingway

The significance of this quote is personal for me. As a police officer I simply cannot see myself doing anything else and would like this quote as a tattoo... I thank you in advance for your translations!

Perhaps:

Ní bhíonn aon seilg cosúil le seilg ar dhuine, agus iad siúd a sheilg daoine armáilte le fada go leor agus ba mhaith leo é a dhéanamh, ní bhíonn suim acusan i dada ar bith eile as sin amach.

"....le fada go leor" doesn't do it for me, but I'm not sure if it needs to be rephrased? Also, should it not be "agus gur mhaith leo" (and those that do like it/like doing it).

It might look suspicious but Ó Dónaill has ar feadh fada go leor "for quite a long time", so I thought adjusting the tense from the past (ar feadh fada) to the present perfect (le fada) wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Perhaps ar feadh fada go leor would sit better after all. How about:

Ní bhíonn aon seilg cosúil le seilg ar dhuine, agus iad siúd a sheilg daoine armáilte ar feadh fada go leor gur maith leo é a dhéanamh, ní bhíonn suim acusan i dada ar bith eile as sin amach.

Could we use the genitive - seilg daonna?

Quite apart from the length of the it, I wonder will a tattoo of this be allowed for serving police officers?
The NYPD have come under attack recently because members of the "Warrant Squad" were seen wearing this same quote on t-shirts.
