Go raibh maith agat! You guys have saved me from starting a thread with some stupid title like "Breasts in Irish".

And what would be stupid about such a title? Keep in mind you were perfectly happy to contribute to a thread with the title: 'cac' = sh*t or poo or as Féabar referred to it elsewhere, 'the potty thread'!

Ah yes, but, um, I was merely doing so to raise the tone, obviously, in preparation for my "Irish for X" series of threads were I choose a different bodily function each week.

We await with interest with our notebooks at the ready! It could give a whole new meaning to 'flash' cards!

The Irish language normally does not carry the same hangups as those found in English. Thankfully, Irish speakers usually don't pass the slightest bit of remarks on many words regarded as 'vulgar' in English.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.
