I assume that you mean a candle lit in a church. I'm not familiar with the term "prayer candle" for that (it may depend on where one grew up), but you could presumably use
coinneal urnaithe as an Irish equivalent for that.
For the other request, I'm not aware of any special name for such a group, but you can describe it as follows:
