Hi everyone. I'm new here, would really appreciate some help with writing a short note in Irish.

It's been a long time since I've used Irish and I started writing this note thinking it would be easy, but there are a few things I am unsure of and want to get it right.

My girl.

My pulse, the love of my heart.

Thank you for giving your love to me.

Thirteen years strong.


What I wrote and then became unsure of was-

Mo chailín.

Mo chuisle, grá mo chroí.

Buíochas agat do ghrá a thabhairt dom.

Trí bliana deag go laidir.


Specifically the last two lines are what I am having the most trouble with.

You are addressing someone but "mo" isn't used in addressing but the vocative particle a:

A chailín

A chuisle, a ghrá mo chroí

For buíochas the preposition le (instead of ag) is used and "for" is as here:

Buíochas leat as do ghrá a thabhairt dom(.)

Go láidir is an adverb (because of go).
If láidir refers to the love instead of giving the love "go" should be omitted
If it refers to the giving there should be no full stop (.) in between.
So,

(Go) láidir le trí bliana déag (strong for 13 years)

If láidir should refer to the years :

Trí bliana déag láidre
