I've been learning languages for quite a while and last year I've started learning Gaeilge and have learned the basics with the help of many resources. As for language learning, in general, I find the Michel Thomas very helpful and have downloaded them online but given that the Michel Thomas Irish course yet doesn't exist, I've done something clever xD. I've taken the booklet of the Michel Thomas Spanish courses for English Speakers and translated it into Gaeilge, but I need help. The basics have been quite easy for me, and with the help of a TTS I can get help with the pronunciation, though I can read Gaeilge fairly, but the TTS helps me with the long-difficult words lol. Anyway, hopefully from a native Irish speaker, I need a little help, or any correction, with my transcript, so I'm asking here please, if anyone could give it a check, I'd be very appreciated. The beauty of MT's method was that it was designed around the language itself and followed a logical ordering based on the structure of the language. A direct translation of the Spanish course into Irish would be a rather messy thing, because you're very quickly going to run into all sorts of knots over prepositions etc as you hit all the "I have it - I want it - I need it" stuff, which are all similar to each other in English and Spanish, but completely different from each other in Irish.

If you can collect some audio files together, you might be able to build something using [url="http://people.ds.cam.ac.uk/ssb22/gradint/"]Gradint[/url]. It generates audio lessons from pairs of audio files.
