Hi. I wonder could anyone check my grammar on this please? I want to say that when I was young I spent three months in the gaeltacht and it instiled a love of the language in me. Thanks in advance: Le linn mo laethanta scoile , chaith mé trí mhí sa Ghaeltacht i mBaile na nGall, Chiarraí agus spreagadh an grá den teanga ionam.

... agus spreagadh grá na teanga ionam.

(an grá den teanga: "the love (as part) of the language", you cannot translate English "of" -> "de" - except in a partitive meaning.
That is why "den" makes no sense here.
It could be meant: an grá don teanga "the love for the language",
de / do is often confused because both are not distinguished in many dialects;
But simple genitive is to be preferred: grá na teanga: "the love of the language")
