Hello all! I've returned for some more help on a translation:

I'm looking for the correct translation of "the snake will always bite back". I have gotten two slightly different translations and was hoping to get an expert opinion and to find the right translation. Here is what I have so far:

1. Beidh an nathair greim i gcónaí ar ais
2. Beidh an nathair ag brath ar ais gcónaí

Are either of these correct, or is there a better way to say this? Thank you all in advance for your help!

Both are wrong.

Bainfidh an nathair greim ar ais asat i gcónaí
The snake will always bite [you] back
Wait for further comments, as we always suggest, especially as to the placement of the words "ar ais".
