Hi all and thank you for your time.
Quick back story my older brother died earlier this year and I am looking to get a tattoo in remembrance.
His name was Paul Nolan and mine is Michael Nolan. Our family came from Waterford on my father's side and Rosscrea on my mother's side (Phelans)
I want a Tattoo that says Paul and Michael Nolan brothers forever.
I think it might be "Pól agus Micheál Ó Nualláin deartháireacha go brách"
Am I correct?
If not would someone correct it for me, the little Irish I was taught is long forgotten....
Thank you in advance.
Mick Nolan
Yes, what you have works, but since the Irish, like the English original, lacks a verb, it would be easier to read if you put a dash or a colon between the two parts of the expression:
Paul and Michael Nolan - brothers forever.
Pól agus Micheál Ó Nualláin - deartháireacha go bráchIf you want to save a few letters, you could also shorten it to:
Pól 's Micheál Ó Nualláin - deartháireacha go deo
