I'd really like to get an irish translated tattoo and I'd like to the get the words "destiny is my choice" or "I choose my own destiny".
That's the sort of idea I'd like to get. I'd really appreciate any help I can get as I don't have a trusted source especially for something this permanent.

I was leaning this way as well. It's literal (I choose my own fate/destiny), but I don't see why it wouldn't work in this context.
