I am curious to know what meaning(s) ye get from "Ar scáth a chéile a mhairimíd"

To live in each others shadow/shelter , but a sort of protective shelter , not an ominous dark shadow.

I hear it in reference to how a community does (or should) function together for mutual benefit.

Anyone else have anything else they could add to this ?
