I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any of the IOS apps out there for study purposes?

The "Enjoy Irish" app is nice for conversation practice (pronunciations are Ulster-based). You get a bunch of conversation scenarios with full audio.

It's not a study tool, but I've found the Collins dictionary app indispensable. It's so convenient, I often find myself reaching for my phone rather than for a paper dictionary. My only beef with it is that the games (such as Hangman) only play in English (when you've finished, you do have the option to see the Irish word, but it would be fun to actually PLAY in Irish).

Those are the only two I've really had the time to evaluate, but I'm sure others will be able to give you more input.
