The TEDx Talk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a6vVIdQBd0 So near the end of the talk (11:13 through to 12:34) Dr. Quinn (U. Southern Maine Linguistics) comes up with a few linguistic "linkers" and "sample sentences" - I think I understand what he's trying to do (provide a mnemonic framework and hook for a small vocabulary set). So I took a stab at it. Corrections and advice would be appreciated.
The quoted bit is extracted from the TEDx talk.

My eyes - they see and they look
My ears - they listen and they hear
My hands - they pick up and put down
My mind - it knows, it feels, it loves, it understands, it remembers, and it forgets sometimes
My bit is below (I added a couple more)... seems the present tense would be the most useful ... dunno. Seems like with the present tense you've got a pretty good framework to build a very basic vocabulary?

Mo chluasa - éisteann agus cloiseann siad...
M'aigne - tá fhíos aici, móthaionn, cuimhníonn, agus dearmadann sí... uaireanta.
Mo bhéal - Labhraíonn agus itheann sé...
Mo lamha - tógann siad suas agus cuireann siad síos...
Mo chósa - ritheann agus siúileann siad... agus tá mé ina sheasamh anseo.
Hopefully it's clear what I'm trying to accomplish here.
