Haigh!

Tá mé tuirseach of doing it all alone by myself. So I'm intending to spread a note in order to hopefully find someone who can boost me up in my attempts to become a full speaker of Gaeilge. Could anyone please check the text for me? (Naturally I will add my number or email to it ;-)
Oh! And btw.: If anyone of you knows an Irish person in Leuven, Belgium, who would be willing to make some time for 'Irish learning conversation', maybe you could bring me in contact with this person. Bheadh sé sin go hiontach!

Here's the text. Hope it's understandable:
Dia duit,
An bhfuil tú Gaeilge agat agus is as Co. na Gaillimhe thú de thaisme? (de thaisme - by chance?)
B’fheidir is feidir leat cuidiú liom le Gaeilge?
Bheadh sé sin go hiontach.
Teagmháil mé ...

Go raibh mile maith agat in advance.

an bhfuil Gaeilge agat (drop the "tú", otherwise the sentence doesn't make sense)

B'fhéidir gur féidir leat...
but I think it's more natural to say "Arbh fhéidir leat cuidiú..........".

I'd say "Chuaigh mé i dteagmháil le..." (I went in contact with...)

in advance is "roimh ré".

Thanks a thousand times, Lughaidh.
By 'teagmháil mé' I wanted to say 'contact me'. Found it on an Irish website. Does your suggestion say the same?

No. Like Lughaidh said it means - "I went in contact with.."

For "contact me" I'd say - Déan teagmháil liom

I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

teagmháil mé is wrong because "teagmháil" is not a verb, it's a noun ("a contact").

"contact me" is "déan teagmháil liom" or "gabh i dteagmháil liom" or "tar i dteagmháil liom"
(which means, respectively "do a contact with me", "go in contact with me" and "come in contact with me").

I know your preference is to meet up with somebody, but as a back-up, there is a friendly crew around here at all different stages of learning. There is always room for another regular on ILF. Drop in from time to time to say hi!

I second that.
