This is so much more difficult than I imagined.

Way, way beyond my level. But where's the fun in easy? :darklaugh:

Many thanks to whoever provided the link. I printed out all the chapters to work from. I don't want to break the spine on my book. I've made it through the first two pages. :reading:

I know exactly what you mean, Aislingeach! I originally wasn't going to try reading "Séadna" on my own so soon, but this group inspired me to give it a go. Everyone is so kind and so helpful; I know that we can do this!

I just finished reading Chapter 1 to-day and wrote down every word and idiom that I had to look up. I'll go over my list to-morrow and then try to read Chapter 1 a few times throughout the weekend, until I can read it straight through without having to look up anything. Then, if all goes well, I should be ready for Chapter 2 next week. And by the way, the notes from An Lon Dubh really helped out a lot!

I will be writing the notes for Caibideal a dó tomorrow. Would people like more information in them than last time.
I wasn't sure how much information and definitions of words to include the first time around, so if you'd like more just tell me.

Take your time, we wont move on until everyone is ready. There's no rush. :good:

Thanks for mentioning that.

Truth to tell, I was trying to finish as fast as possible because I didn't want to hold back the group – But now I'll make sure that I've studied everything thoroughly so that I'll really be ready when we move on to Chapter 2.
