My Irish is fine - it's my English that's dodgy.

Is mise Máire as Baile Átha Cliath. Táim ag déanamh staidéir ar an nGaeilge in Ollscoil na hÉireann Gaillimh mar mhac léinn (an) aibí. Bhí mé in Oideas Gael le déanaí agus bhain mé sult as. Tá baint agam le Cumann Carad na Gaeilge agus chuaigh beirt ó mo ghrúpa go dtí Oideas Gael i mbliana chomh maith. Duine amháin as Texas agus an duine eile as Maryland. Bhí Gaeilge ag m'athair sa Mhuileann Cearr agus ba as eisean a fuair mé an grá don teanga. An sásta gur aimsigh mé an suíomh seo.

Hi there. My name is Alyssa VanWychen. Just recently my family found out my great grandma was adopted out of Ireland. We are trying to trace her roots back there. I am interested in translations eventually i would like to learn the language.
