The use of 'got' equivalents can be problematic too (just like in English). I find it difficult to establish what is Béarlachas and what isn't. I was dismissing most as Béarlachas only to find heaps of them in the dictionary. :/

Scooby had a great thread dealing with the overuse of 'got'. Worth a look. Nice exercise to do if you just want to read the English version and try to translate it yourself. viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1584&p=13875&hilit=+verbs#p13875
