It would be a blend of Munster and Standard Irish, I guess. Using "go/gur" instead of "a" (indirect relative) is rather a Munster thing.
"Cén fáth gur chuaigh" might be correct in certain parts of Munster, but they rather say "cad ina thaobh" to say "why" there.

A Shaoirse, fáth is actually a noun so unless using that Munster dialect a relative particle is required:

Cén fáth a ... "What is the reason that ..."

go is used with verbs:

Sílim go ...

Both are "that" in English but you need to distinguish them in Irish.

Yes.
"deachaigh" is the dependent form of the verb "téigh" in the past. The dependent form is the form you use after certain verbal particles (ní, nach, go, etc). Only certain irregular verbs have a distinctive dependent form.
