Well done on tuircfheolach Labhrás, even older native speakers I asked at the time got that wrong.

I actually find it incredible that a word meaning "skinny" underwent metathesis to become the same as a word meaning "boar meat" in the translation of an Italian phrase that refers to cooked boar meat to convey something being skinny.

I think the defiant bit in the info I received relates to athúltha: I was also told: “athúlta” occurs in Réilthíní Óir s.v. gioraisc, and is explained as being defiant or insolent.

I think ceabhramán should have been spelt ceannramán, leaving the reader to work out that -nn- is deleted in pronunciation after producing a diphthong. Of course, Dinneen has ceannrachán and FGB has ceanrachán, so the one in -mán isn't actually in dictionaries.
