Hi guys,
can someone help me out and translate the following song phrases for me:
- happiness is something you create
- I don't believe that anything can recreate your youth
thanks in advance
Jonas
I think rephrasing the first one works a bit better in Irish (the word order is something that just wouldn't work in Irish IMO):
Cruthaítear do chuid sonais féin You (impersonal you) create your on happiness
Ní chreidim gur féidir rud ar bith ded' óige a athchruthú This pretty much means what you asked for. I'd definitely wait for more though, thi is a pretty literal attempt and is rough in my view. I'm not sure which word to use for "recreate" as "athchruthú" would generally be used for a physical thing, whereas in English you can use recreate when referring to a memory or something less concrete/tangible if you know what I mean.
Wait for more.
