Plural: 'Bhur ndochtúir ar líne'

Edit: Removed hypen

focloir.ie and focal.ie agree with you. No hyphenation, just 'ar líne'.

Yeah. It was my mistake. In the Collins dictionary I use on my phone it has "on-line" with the hyphen, and I saw that when exiting out and for some reason thought it was ar-líne when that one didn't have the hyphen.

Sorry. Just noticed missing 'h' in the first one: 'Do dhochtúir...' You have it in the second so just a typo.

Yeah...in English, we hyphenate two- or three-word phrases that are acting as adjectives:

"My doctor is on line"

But...

"My doctor is an on-line doctor"

Irish is different in that respect.

Actually, I probably wouldn't use the hyphen at all. Online is what I would've done.
