The thing is not how he pronounces it, for people are not going to change what they do right or wrong, it's that in all this is the assumption that Irish is pronounced the same as English, and this error is NEVER challenged, so when so when someone says "how is X pronounced"? the person giving the advice is wrong and the listener imitates that and no one is any the wiser.

[kˠɰiːw'ə] is how I would do it (the /w'/ is where the lips are pursed, no teeth, but sounding like a v)

The broad c and tense i provide for a strong clear glide that people not used to the system perceive as a 'w' but there is no such sound there
