I would like to have help translating the following prayer into Irish. I apologize if it is too long.

"Thank you loving Mother for this precious gift, the rosary.

Guide my hands and my heart as I fashion these beads to be used in your honor to praise thy Son.

Let each bead be filled with love and patience; let love pass through my fingers to unknown hands; and let patience prevail where prayers may seem unanswered.

Teach me that I do this task only through the merits of your divine Son, for without him I can accomplish nothing.

Let my numbers be known only to you and to Him. I offer this for the greater glory of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen."

Here's an attempt at it. Some tricky parts, I'm sure others can suggest improvements/corrections.


Go raibh maith agat, a Mháthair ghrádhmhar, as an dtabhartas lóghmhar so, an Paidirín.

Treoruigh mo lámha agus mo chroidhe agus mé ag múnlughadh na gcoirníní/an Phaidrín seo a húsáidfear i d'onóir chun do Mhac a mholadh.

Go líontar gach coirnín acu de ghrádh agus d'fhoighne; go dtéighe an grádh trí mo mhéaracha chun lámh anaithnid; agus go n-éirighe leis an bhfoighne nuair a síltear nár freagradh paidir.

Múin dom ionnas ná deinim an tasc so ach trí fhiúntais do Mhic dhiadha, óir ní fhéadaim aon rud a dhéanamh ina éagmais.

Ná raibh fios ar m'uimhreacha ag éinne ach agat-sa agus ag do Mhac diadha*. Bronnaim é seo chun glóire (móire) Dé an t-Athair, an Mhic, agus an Spioraid Naoimh.


*I'm not sure what's meant by this line in the original.
