I think a ceallóg is a "prison cell" or a "cell in a monastery". A "cell" in the biological sense is cill. So I would say:

Tá níos mó ná cill amháin aige. "It has more than one cell." (I don't think the cuid is necessary here either.)

Await correction or confirmation on that though ...

Wouldn't "cillín" be a prison cell/monastery cell?
