Dhia ghuit

Can you please tell me how you would say:-

"Thank you for your email. "I'm out of the office until 06/03/13 and will respond to you on my return"

Many Thanks!

(Edited to add extra information to title so that people can find the thread more easily. Saoirse)

Go raibh maith agat as do ríomhphost. Níl mé san oifig go dtí 6 Márta 2013 agus beidh mé ag caint leat ansin

Literally thanks for your email, i am not in the office until 6 march and I will talk to you then.

Someone may have a better way to say "respond to you on my return" I'm not sure what the exact translation of that would be.

This looks good. I think I might change the last bit to "freagróidh mé ansin thú" (I will answer you then). Or perhaps "cuirfidh mé freagairt duit ansin." (I'll send you a response then).

Wait for more input on this, though. I may be mistaken (it's been known to happen! ;) )

I would go with this.

My offering:

Go raibh maith agat as do ríomhphost. Ní bheidh mé san oifig go dtí 6 Márta, 2013 agus beidh mé i dteagmháil leat ansin.

"Thank you for your e-mail. I won't be in the office until the 6th March, 2013 and I will be in contact with you then."

Looks grand and has my vote.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Now that you have all the confirmations that you need....... a small alteration would work too.

Go raibh maith agat as do ríomhphost. Beidh mé ar ais san oifig ar 6 Márta, 2013 agus beidh mé i dteagmháil leat ansin.

"Thank you for your e-mail. I will be back in the office on the 6th March, 2013 and I will be in contact with you then."

I prefer this version slightly - not sure why, but either works fine so it's whichever you want yourself!
