I'm subscribed to Talk Irish's Irish Word a Day, which is going through the relationship words at the moment.
http://talkirish.com/blogs/wordaday/arc ... r-old.aspxYesterday and today I've seen a construction that I don't recall seeing before.
Is as Ceanada do mo chol ceathrair.
Is as Corcaigh do mo sheanathair. So I start looking through various language learning books and come across
Is as Bostom dom and
Cad as d'Aine?.
I'm not accustomed to seeing the "do" in there. How did I miss this basic info? I'm truly shocked.

Is it because of the copula, as in
Mark is aimn dom?
