A chairde,

I can't find the Search box, for this Forum,
When using my iPad.

Am I becoming blind as I get older or is this a known issue with the iPads?

Go raibh maith agaibh,
Gearóid

The layout is a little different here from the old site. There is a link to the search page at the top right of every page between "FAQ" and "Members". It will take you to the following page:

search.php

This does not appear on the iPad.

All I see is the [FAQ] and then beside it a [User-Control-Panel].

Le meas,
Gearóid

I just realised - it's not the iPad, it's your status.

"Search" and "Members" will become visible when you reach your post count of ten and become a regular user.

(That's another two posts you've progressed already. ;) )

I think that the 'Search' button displays for everyone, even people not logged on. It would not make sense to have it any other way. To verify, I checked when not logged in and I could see 'FAQ' and 'Search'. When I logged in, the two other buttons were also displayed: 'Members' and 'User Control Panel'.

You're right, a Shaoirse. It didn't make sense. I must have gotten a bit overly cautious during the spam attacks last year and switched everything off for newbies, including the search function, by mistake.

Bain triail as anois, a Ghearóid. Try it now, Gearóid.
