Looking at p155 of Cnósach Focal ó Bhaile Bhúirne:

What does ag ceiliúr d'fhás mean? Ceiliúr means "to disappoint", but then d'fhás on the end is hard to understand. Does it mean "as if they were disappointing IN TERMS OF their growth"?

Isn't "to vanish, fade" the appropriate translation of ceiliúr(adh) here?

(I don't find the meaning "to disappoint" in dictionaries)

Well, Cnósach Focal ó BB defines it like that (p54):

celiúraim: á, do cheliúrais orm = disappointed me, nú mar sin

CFBB is the direct source for many entries in FGB (the same definitions and the same exact example sentences), but maybe Ó Dónall rejected this one or thought it wasn't more widely found?
