GM - One of the English language Waterford newspapers in 1846 referenced the prayer: 'Ga dhtugge Dia slaan shiv!'. I am interested to know how this should be written (in Munster Irish) and what is its literal and colloquial meaning. Any help greatly appreciated - thank you.

Go dtuga Dia slán sibh.
"that bring God healthy you"
May God bring you (pl.) safe (home or elsewhere).
