I wonder if someone could help me. I want to know the meaning of the word 'ropach' used as an adjective to describe a person. A search on teanglann.ie brough up 'ropach' as a noun which did not fit the context.

The phrase from the book 'An Litir' is as follows:

"é leathanghuailleach ropach"

The dictionary has the adjective 'rúpach' = 'robust', which fits. Any chance 'ropach' is a typo? Unlikely, I know.

There are a couple of minor typos in the book, but I'm guessing its more likely a variant of the word, as there are a couple of those in there as well.
