I am looking for a little more information on the name Shóna. I wanted to know if the fada placement is correct and also the meaning. If you Google it, all I get is Shona and no real origin explanation as far as Irish names go. Can anyone help?

'Shona' - no accent - is the anglicised form of the Scots (not Irish) Gaelic name 'Seòna'. I've never seen 'Shóna' before, although Google does throw up a few examples. But 'Shona' is the usual form.
